Balcon de Europa – the focal point of the town, situated on a rocky promontory and was formally a fortress.

Parque Verano Azul – a park built in honour of the 80s Spanish TV series ‘ Summer Blue’).

Parador de Nerja – a sumptuous ‘Parador’ hotel built in 1930 on a cliff top overlooking the sea.
